This three night, four-day tour provides visitors with an in-depth view into the rich culture embedded in the Kathmandu Valley. Explore the cultural treasures of Kathmandu, capital and largest city of Nepal-immerse yourself in the vibrant array of bustling streets, incomparable historic buildings and heritage, exquisite temples and religious sites. The ancient cities of Kathmandu Valley include Patan and Bhaktapur with evocative palace squares. The tour then takes you to Nargarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu on the valley rim. Nagarkot offers superb views of the Indrawati Valley framed by expansive ranges of snowy peaks on the horizon. We’ll spend the night in Nagarkot and head to Bhaktapur, a 9th-century city shaped like a giant conch shell, known for its spectacular medieval architecture. From Bhaktapur, we’ll visit ancient Patan Durbar Square which shares some similarities to Bhaktapur Durbar Square though slightly smaller. It’s a beautiful place to be in the late afternoon as locals congregate on the steps of the temples to meet and chat about the days.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
You will be greeted by our representative at the arrival area and provided hotel transfer. Free time until dinner. In the evening, we will visit a traditional Nepalese restaurant for a fine meal accompanied by folk music and a cultural program.
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour
Guided tour of Kathmandu valley’s main attractions including UNESCO World Heritage Sites of historical and religious importance. The tour includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambunath (The Monkey Temple) and Boudddhanath, one of the largest Buddhist shrines in the world and a major pilgrimage destination.
Day 03: Day 09: Bhaktapur and Patan Tour, drive to Nagarkot
After breakfast we will travel by private vehicle to Patan Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site with an extraordinary array of temples, statues and artwork with exquisite carvings. Lunch at Patan before transferring to the ancient Bhaktapur Durbar Square which shares some similarities to Patan Durbar Square but is a more expansive architectural feast. From Kathmandu, we drive to the famed hill station of Nagarkot just in time to savor the spectacular sunset panorama.
Day 04: Final Departure
